I, the user of the Merilo mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), hereby freely, of my own volition, and in my own interest, provide my consent to VIGO Limited Liability Company (VIGO LLC) located at premises 21/4, bldg. 2, 63B Mikhailovskaya St., Koptevo Municipal District, Moscow, 125438 (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) to process my personal data under the following terms and conditions.
1. Purposes of Processing
This consent is given for the following purposes:
- creating and identifying a user account;
- authenticating the User and providing access to the App’s features;
- storing, synchronizing, and displaying measurement history;
- providing analytical features;
- conducting research and statistical analysis of communication network quality;
- generating aggregated statistics;
- ensuring the operation and security of the App, and identifying and resolving technical errors;
- handling User inquiries and providing technical support.
2. List of personal data
This consent covers the processing of the following data to the extent actually provided or generated when using the App:
- a hash value of the email address, calculated during authentication;
- the internal account identifier and account status information;
- internet connection quality measurement results, measurement timestamps, and related technical events;
- device location data, including data obtained with the User’s permission, where necessary to determine the location of measurements and perform geographic analysis of network quality;
- network and connection data, including connection type, Wi-Fi network SSID and BSSID, cell tower identifiers, and connection speed, latency, and stability parameters;
- technical data relating to the device and the App, including the device model, operating system version, and other technical parameters necessary for the purposes specified above.
The actual scope of data processed depends on the App features used, device settings, and permissions granted by the User.
The original email address, if provided during authentication, is used to calculate the hash value and is not stored by the Operator in the primary Merilo database. The Operator does not use it for advertising or informational email campaigns.
3. Processing Operations
The Operator may collect, record, systematize, accumulate, store, update or modify, retrieve, use, transfer data where permitted by applicable law and necessary for the operation of the App, anonymize, block, delete, and destroy personal data, using automated means or without the use of such means.
4. Duration and Withdrawal of Consent
This consent remains valid until the purposes of processing have been achieved or until it is withdrawn, unless otherwise provided by the laws of the Russian Federation.
I may withdraw this consent by sending a request to info@vigo.tech, specifying that the request relates to my Merilo account.
Upon receipt of the withdrawal, the Operator will cease processing personal data on the basis of this consent and delete the data in the cases and within the time limits established by the laws of the Russian Federation.
The account and associated data may also be deleted using the relevant feature within the App. Deleting the account may result in the loss of measurement history and the ability to synchronize it.
