These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the use of the Merilo mobile application (“App”).
The App is operated by Limited Liability Company “VIGO” (LLC “VIGO”), TIN 7743438527, address: 125438, Moscow, vn.ter.g. Municipal district Koptevo, st. Mikhailovskaya, 63B, building 2, premises. 21/4 (“Operator”).
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.
1. Purpose of the App
1.1. Merilo is designed to measure and analyze internet connection quality, including data transfer speed, latency, jitter, packet loss, video playback quality, and the availability of internet services, and to provide measurement results and related recommendations.
1.2. Available features depend on the App version, operating system, device capabilities, and network conditions.
2. Account and authentication
2.1. Certain features, including saving and synchronizing measurement results, may require authentication through a provider available in the User’s region.
2.2. In the Russian Federation, the App provides authentication through Yandex. Available authentication methods may change depending on region and technical conditions.
2.3. During authentication, the App receives the User’s email address from the relevant provider if the address is made available through the selected authentication method. The address is used to generate a hash value required to identify the account.
2.4. The Operator does not retain the original email address in its primary database and does not use it to send advertising or informational email campaigns. The Operator stores the hash value and data associated with the account for account identification.
2.5. Hashing does not guarantee absolute anonymization. If a hash value can be linked to a User account, it may qualify as personal data and is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
2.6. Users must use their own accounts and must not compromise the security of the App or attempt to access other users’ data without authorization.
3. Measurement results and synchronization
3.1. The App may store measurement results and related technical information to provide measurement history, synchronization across devices, and connection-quality analysis.
3.2. Depending on the features used, stored information may include measurement results, timestamps, network connection parameters, and technical information necessary for the App to function properly.
3.3. Measurement results depend on the device, network, location, network load, and other technical factors. They do not guarantee a particular level of service from an internet or mobile network provider.
4. Acceptable use
4.1. Users must not use the App for unlawful purposes, interfere with the Operator’s infrastructure, circumvent security measures, or infringe third-party rights.
4.2. The Operator may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue individual App features to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Personal data
5.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available at: https://www.merilo.one/en/privacy.
5.2. To create and use an account, the User provides separate consent to personal data processing where such consent is required and relied upon as the legal basis for processing.
5.3. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace consent to personal data processing.
6. Account deletion and contact
6.1. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing info@vigo.tech.
6.2. The request should identify the account as a Merilo account and include information sufficient to identify it without unnecessary disclosure of personal data.
6.3. The Operator handles requests and ceases processing or deletes data within the time limits and in the manner required by applicable law. Data that the Operator is legally required or permitted to retain may be kept to the extent necessary.
7. Changes to these Terms
7.1. The Operator may update these Terms. The current version is available at: https://www.merilo.one/en/agreement.
7.2. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes use under the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
